New Delhi: Nokia Lumia 900 and Nokia Lumia 610 will be launched in India by the third quarter of this year, the company announced on Thursday.
Both devices saw their global release at the World Mobile Congress (WMC) in Barcelona, Spain.
Lumia 900 is the upgraded version of the Nokia Lumia 800. Powered by a 1.4GHz processor, the phone runs the Windows Phone Release 7.5, and has a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display with 800 by 480 pixels resolution.
Measuring 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5 mm (5 x 2.7 x .45 inches), the Nokia Lumia 900 weighs 160 grams, has 512MB RAM and 16 GB internal memory (14.5GB user memory) apart from SkyDrive cloud storage.
The Nokia Lumia 900 retains the polycarbonate unibody design first used for the Nokia N9 and then for the Nokia Lumia 800.
It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash. In addition, there’s a second, 1MP front-facing camera to support video calls.
The improved 1840mAH battery in the Nokia Lumia 900 lasts for about 7 hours talk-time and up to 300 hours on standby.
Other features include Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 high-speed, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 3mm headset connector. The phone also comes with Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive through the Windows Phone Marketplace.
The Lumia 610 is an affordable Windows Phone that has 3.7-inch LCD Display. Powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, it has 5MP camera with LED flash, 256MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, FM Radio and 1300mAh battery.
